About Energy Programs

Eligible low income households may receive benefits to assist with heating bills. The same application is used to apply for Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP), Universal Service Fund (USF). Applications may be requested by emailing HomeEnergy@bccap.org or picked up at the BCAP Dickens Community Service Center, 1 Van Sciver Parkway, Willingboro, NJ. 08046. Applications are also available on line at www.energyassistance.nj.gov. LIHEAP benefits are issued as a credit on your utility bill or a two-party check payable to your fuel dealer. All applicants must supply proof of Social Security Number(s), residence, earned and unearned Income for the prior thirty days for all persons in the household, and proof of responsibility for energy payment.
